Solar eclipse : Beautiful cosmic event or Inauspicious event???

On june 21st,  1st solar eclipse of 2020 is taking place from 9 :25 am to 2 :45 pm. This eclipse will be an annular solar eclipse — a type of eclipse that occurs when the apparent diameter of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun. As the Moon will only block the centre of the Sun (not the whole of it), and therefore, the Sun’s visible outer edges will form a magnificent ‘ring of light’ in the sky.An eclipse is a rare phenomenon seen from Earth. An annular Solar eclipse is a special type of eclipse. For any eclipse to happen, the Sun-Moon-Earth should be in one plane. On each New Moon night, the Moon is near the Sun, but eclipse does not occur, as the Moon’s orbit around the Earth is tilted by 5 degrees. Therefore, although the direction of the Sun and the Moon is the same, the Moon’s position is above or below with respect to the Sun’s. Hence, on each New Moon (Amavasya), there is no eclipse.
